WHAT IS SJADAH OF TILAVET (reading) AND HOW TO DO IT
Prostration of recitation is respect to Allah. There are verses of prostration in fourteen surahs of the Holy Quran. It is obligatory to prostrate to someone who reads or hears one of these.
If the verse of prostration is read during the prayer, the prostration of recitation must be performed during the prayer. If he is to continue reading the Quran after the verse of prostration, he immediately performs the prostration of recitation after the verse of prostration and immediately stands up and continues reading from where he left off.
If he does not continue reciting after the verse of prostration or if he will read at most three more verses, he will perform ruku and prostration, and it is not necessary to perform prostration of recitation.
If a person who is not in prayer hears the prostration verse recited during prayer, he must prostrate. If a person performing prayer hears the verse of prostration recited by someone who is not in prayer, he must perform the prostration of recitation after the prayer.
A person who reads the verse of prostration during prayer must perform prostration of recitation during prayer. This prostration is not done after the prayer is over. If the imam recites the verse of prostration during the prayer, both he and the congregation following him prostrate. Prostration of recitation is obligatory for those who are obliged to perform prayer. It is not obligatory for women who are menstruating or postpartum.
If the translation of the verse of prostration is read, prostration of recitation becomes obligatory. Just as it is not necessary to prostrate by simply looking at the verse of prostration, whether by writing or not reading it, it is not necessary to spell it out, that is, by reading it letter by letter. If the verse of prostration is recited in a congregation, it is not necessary for the reciter to move forward and for the congregation to form rows. Everyone performs prostration by facing the qibla where they are. It is mandub to read the verse of prostration secretly in the presence of a person who is not ready to perform prostration. [DECENCY]
For anyone who repeats a verse of prostration in one place, it is sufficient to prostrate once. However, if he goes to a place other than where he is, one prostration will not be enough. A sick person performs the prostration of recitation with a hint, that is, with a head sign. It is makruh to read a surah or verse containing a verse of prostration and skip the verse of prostration in order to avoid prostration. Things that invalidate the prayer also invalidate the prostration of recitation and the prostration must be repeated.
--MAKING OF THE TILAWAT PROJAD--
After performing ablution, one turns to the qibla. With the intention of prostration of recitation, one prostrates by saying "Allahu Akbar" without raising the hands. After saying "Subhaneke Rabbiye'l-ala" three times in prostration, you stand up by saying "Allahu Akbar". It is recommended to say "Gufraneke Rabbena ve ileyke'l-masir" while standing up. Prostration is done once, there is no greeting after prostration.
